FOUNDATIONAL STAGE
Pre-Primary to Grade 2

The Foundational Stage is the most critical phase in a child’s educational journey. At G.K. Gurukul, this stage focuses on play-based, activity-driven, Montessori and discovery-oriented learning, where children explore concepts through joyful experiences—stories, rhymes, games, music, art, and hands-on activities.

Our approach is aligned with the NIPUN Bharat Mission, ensuring that every child develops strong foundational literacy and numeracy skills. Learning is integrated and holistic, nurturing not only cognitive abilities but also emotional, social, and physical development.

Classrooms are designed to be warm, inclusive, and child-friendly to make learning comfortable and meaningful. Teachers act as facilitators, encouraging children to explore, question, and discover through real-life experiences.

The Foundational Stage builds the bedrock of lifelong learning, fostering curiosity, creativity, confidence, and essential skills that prepare young learners for future success.
